Biogen Reports New Data from Phase 1b Study of Investigational Alzheimer’s Disease Treatment Aducanumab
In the Phase 1b LTE, the most commonly reported adverse events were headache, fall and amyloid-related imaging abnormalit ies (ARIA). Of the 185 patients dosed with aducanumab in the Phase 1b study, 46 patients experienced ARIA-E (edema). There were no new cases of ARIA-E in patients who continued on the same dose of aducanumab. The incidence of ARIA-E in patients switching from placebo to aduc...
متن کاملBiogen Base - An interactive maize database for phenomics platform
Biogen base serves the maize (Zea mays L.) research community by making a wealth of genetics and genomics data available through an intuitive Web-based interface. We have developed an Open access database as a resource to enhance research with the unique data obtained from the genomics and proteomics lab of TNAU. Biogen Base is an interactive database in bringing out the different traits of the...
متن کاملAuto-Immune Addison\'s Disease Associated with Hyperprolactinemia
SUMMARY Three cases ofauto-immune addison's disease are reported in association with hyperprolactilinemia. All of them had galactorrhea. In three cases complete resolution of hyperprolactitinemia occurred with corticosteroid replacement. We suggest that hyperprolactinemia was due to cortisol deficiency operating directly or indirectly at the level of the pituitary.
متن کاملImmune Rebound: Multiple Sclerosis after Treatment of Cushing’s disease
High cortisol level in endogenous Cushing’s syndrome suppresses the immune system and after treatment there may be an over activity of immune reaction leading to autoimmune diseases mostly thyroid and rheumatologic disorders. This is the second reported case of multiple sclerosis developing after treatment of Cushing’s syndrome. A 42-year old man is reported who presented with bone fracture and...
